Sanlando CHildren’s Ministry
Kids are important to us! We provide a safe and positive atmosphere for children to learn and grow in their relationship with God and each other. They have opportunities to learn, make new friends, help others, and have fun. Children's Ministry is interactive, experiential, and includes Bible teachings via crafts, games and other activities. Safety and security is a priority to us. Our staff and volunteers are background screened and trained.

Sanlando Kids Sunday School is for our 1st - 5th grade students and meets during our 9:30 service. We utilize the 252 Kids Orange Curriculum to teach our kids a Bible story, make awesome crafts, and play exciting games that all center around a specific theme each month. You can find our 1st/2nd/3rd grade class upstairs in the Point on the Cafe side, while our 4th/5th grade students meet upstairs in the Point on the stage side.

Students Proclaiming the Lord’s Awesome Truth
Our 4th and 5th grade students are in a time of transition when it comes to their faith. To support them and allow them to grow, we meet in Fellowship Hall on Sunday evenings from 5:00 - 7:00 for a meal, exciting games, and small group discussion. Bring a friend and prepare for fun. Students must be signed in and out by an adult.
Sanlando Worship Kids
We have two choirs for our little ones that rehearse on Wednesday nights from 6:15-7:15 and perform on Sunday mornings throughout the year!
Children’s Choir is for 1st - 5th Graders and meets in the Choir Room. Tot’s Choir is for children ages 3 through Kindergarten and meets in Room 10.
As part of our policy, all volunteers are required to receive reoccurring training in our Child Youth Protection Policy (CYPP). This REQUIRED training is for those adults who volunteer with any child or youth ministry within Sanlando United Methodist Church (Sunday School, Youth, Children’s Church, Children’s Choir, etc.). This is for the safety not only of our Sanlando Children and Youth, but our volunteers as well. Training is offered at different points throughout the year.
