At Sanlando we are very involved in the community around
us. We sponsor many areas that are connected to our neighborhood.
Among them are:
The United Methodist Church as a national organization is
the largest supporter of Boy Scouts of America in number of
units and boys served. Scouting promotes the ideals of citizenship,
leadership, personal growth, service to others and reverence
for God.
Sanlando UMC is proud to sponsor several Scouting units for
the boys and girls of our local community. We welcome families
of all faiths in our church and into these Scouting units.

Attitudes of young people
are changed when they come to help those who are unable
to do the work themselves due to a physical impairment
age ore economic status. Helping those who "fall
through the cracks." Like the widow who finds repair
work overwhelming, the single parent who has all he or
she can do to hold down a job and raise a family, the
father who was laid off six months ago or people who are
hurting in many different ways has an IMPACT. These youth
become ambassadors of Good Will throughout the community. |

hurting people, it gives them a whole new way of looking at
life.", IMPACT MINISTRIES
