Mission Trips

Sanlando members participate in a variety of local, national and international mission projects each year. Teams help others in need by painting, cleaning, constructing and repairing homes and buildings here in our backyard and around the world.

This year our international team travelled to San Isidro, Costa Rica in July as part of the UMCOR project.

Our Middle School and High School Youth Shine Choir members went to nearby destinations to do missions and outreach.

Middle School and High School students attended IMPACT Florida camps where they completed mission projects locally.

We call it Salty Service. It's taken from Matthew 5:13-16 in which Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount describes us as being the salt of the earth and tells us, all who are blessed are called to responsibility.
