Live a Better Story

Everyone loves a good story. It’s what drives us to stay up longer at night than we intended—binge watching or binge reading—and there’s something about stories, no matter the genre, that attracts us. The truth is, we’re all living a story right now. For some of us we’re in a season of drama, for others maybe a romantic comedy, but regardless, we’re all in the middle of our stories. Over the next several weeks, we’re going to look at how Jesus’ promise of “life to the full” plays out in each of our life stories.

Multiple groups meet at various points throughout the week - Contact:

What is the Bible?

Join Pastor Jonathan for a broad overview of the Bible, including chapters on how to select a Bible suitable for your needs, how the Bible is organized, how the collection of books that comprise the Bible were chosen, different ways that people approach the text, and what archaeology has to tell us about the text and its stories.

This class is best suited for persons who consider themselves relatively new to Bible study, Christian faith or the church. Some suggested reading throughout the week will be strongly encouraged. This class is not suggested for choir members as it does run into choir rehearsal time.

Six weeks Aug. 22 – Sept. 26 6:15 - 7:45 pm     (20 students max)
