Live a Better Story

Everyone loves a good story. It’s what drives us to stay up longer at night than we intended—binge watching or binge reading—and there’s something about stories, no matter the genre, that attracts us. The truth is, we’re all living a story right now. For some of us we’re in a season of drama, for others maybe a romantic comedy, but regardless, we’re all in the middle of our stories. Over the next several weeks, we’re going to look at how Jesus’ promise of “life to the full” plays out in each of our life stories.

The Old Testament

Join Pastor Jonathan for the second course in Exploring the Bible: The Dickinson Series will help you better understand the Old Testament in the context of the world in which it was written.

This class naturally follows the What is the Bible? class and spaces will be reserved for those in that class to be able to enroll in this next class. Due to the perceived interest, I am opening up fifteen more spaces for those that want to join us for Introducing the Old Testament. There will be a small cost for the student book and please know that reading and short homework assignments are necessary to fully participate.

Six weeks: Wednesdays - October 3, 10, 17, 24 and November 7, and 14 from 6:15 pm - 7:30 pm
