| The Source of All My Joy |

 Subject: GodSCRIPTURE: "I will sing to the Lord as long as I live. I will praise God with my last breath! May he be pleased by all these thoughts about him; for he is the source of all my joy." Ps. 104:33 & 34 OBSERVATION: After our "second" birth, we are no longer the same as we were before. When we give our hearts to the Lord He gives us back a Servant's Heart. We no longer live only unto ourselves. We live unto and for the Lord. We seek to give glory to Him and to His Kingdom. There literally is a song of praise in our redeemed hearts CONTINUALLY. It is true in verse 33, that we will sing to the Lord for as long as we live, even to the very last breath. In what we think, say and do, we try to honor and please our Lord. We have many joys in our lives. All of them have, as their source, the Lord. We then delight not in what the world has to offer only, but also in all things - every day - it is the Lord who gives us JOY. APPLICATION: I love God - my Heavenly Father. I do try to please Him by my humble life. I am so week - fractured - clay feet - yet I do what I can to honor my Lord. PRAYER: Father God, I love You so very much, all my days! Amen! |
